Tomorrow, on election day, the people of Gilmore will have a clear choice to secure the future of the South Coast.

Our community has a clear choice between Anthony Albanese, Fiona Phillips and Labor’s plan to deliver another tax cut for every taxpayer, more Medicare Urgent Care Clinics, and build more homes.

Or Peter Dutton’s plan for cuts to jobs and services to pay for his $600 billion plan to build nuclear reactors.

Fiona Phillips and Labor have delivered stronger public health services for our community by delivering a Medicare Urgent Care Clinic in Batemans Bay.

A re-elected Labor government will expand the Batemans Bay Urgent Care Clinic's opening hours from 6am until midnight.

A re-elected Labor government will also open a new federally-funded Medicare Urgent Care Clinic in Nowra in the 2025-26 financial year.

Fiona Phillips and Labor have also delivered a Kiama headspace, a Medicare Mental Health Centre at Moruya and, under a re-elected Albanese Labor Government, the new Nowra hub will be upgraded to a full, walk-in Medicare Mental Health Centre for adults.

Fiona Phillips and Labor are helping to build the local roads that our growing community needs so much, including more than $1 billion in federal funding for local road projects including the Nowra Bypass, Jervis Bay Road Flyover, the Milton-Ulladulla Bypass, Far North Collector Road and local roads across our community.

Fiona has also helped build the infrastructure that our community groups need, like the new Gerringong Surf Club, new Rural Fire Service sheds at Manyana and Lake Conjola and has provided $5 million funding to reinvigorate the Nowra Riverfront Precinct.

Labor and Fiona Phillips will keep supporting our community groups and will deliver $1.39 million for a new Pilot House for Marine Rescue Shoalhaven, $512,000 to upgrade the Kiama Surf Club, $840,000 for the Gerringong District All Sports Clubhouse at Gerry Emery Oval and $3 million towards the construction of a new clubhouse for the Batemans Bay Seahawks Football Club if re-elected.

A re-elected Albanese Labor Government will deliver an additional tax cut so people can keep more of what they earn, make sure people get another $150 off their energy bill, make sure first home buyers can buy a house with a 5 per cent deposit, deliver free TAFE and cut student debt by 20 per cent.

Quotes attributable to Labor Member for Gilmore Fiona Phillips:

"Our community faces a clear choice tomorrow. Labor's plan for better health care, more tax cuts, and to help young people buy their first house, or Peter Dutton's plan for massive cuts to services so he can pay for his $600 billion plan to build nuclear reactors."

"I have been absolutely humbled to represent this amazing community in our Parliament since 2019, but there is so much more to do.

"I'm asking for your support so I can keep on delivering the public services, cost of living support and infrastructure that our community needs and deserves."
