Labor’s candidate for Gilmore Fiona Phillips today announced a Shorten Labor Government will match the Coalition’s commitment and invest $475,000 in local netball facilities.
The funding boost will go towards upgrading the Eurobodalla Regional Netball Facilities in Broulee.
Fiona Phillips said the funding would help local netballers get the most out of their training and games.
“The facilities in Broulee get plenty of use from hundreds of local netballers but they are definitely in need of repair.
“As a local I want the local community to have access to top-rate sport facilities to help them be active and enjoy themselves.
“That’s why this announcement is so important. The funding will go towards improving not only the courts but the club house and change rooms and associated amenities including lighting.”
Labor will always fight for a fair go for all and deliver on local services and facilities.
